Fireworks under the stars:
4th of July Fireworks Celebrate Independence Day Friday, July 4th in New Braunfels with fireworks under the stars presented by the City of New Braunfels, sponsored by HEB.The Groove hounds Drum The annual fireworks display and festivities kick off at 6:30 p.m., with a free concert featuring….The Groove Hounds. Landa Park Dance Slab Fireworks start at 9:15 p.m. Note, no seating on the Landa Park Golf Course which is under construction but fireworks will be adjusted to be visible from Landa Park, Fredericksburg Fields, Hinman Island Park and Prince Solms Park.
Additional seating area for the annual Fourth of July fireworks display will be available this year only courtesy of the Wurstfest Association. They will open the north gate on Elizabeth Street to allow guests to watch fireworks show from that area of the Wurstfest grounds. In addition, Wurstfest will offer free parking in the Lions Club Parking Lot, on the property next to the Knights of Columbus Hall on Landa Street.
Surf like a star:
Surf Gate Sunday at Texas Ski Ranch provides an opportunity to try wake surfing with Malibu’s Surf Gate and Wedge boat technology that creates a long, glassy wave on either side so you can ride a wave that never collapses – free but first come first served, surf sessions are 30 minutes long with four surfer group..
