Be a local In New Braunfels.

Retention & Expansion

New Braunfels Economic Development takes an active stance on business retention and expansion. Research shows that over 85% of new jobs stem from existing businesses in a community, therefore creates our focus on keeping and creating local businesses and jobs. As part of our BRE program, New Braunfels EDC staff the New Braunfels Manufacturing Association as well as a private sector foundation (Greater New Braunfels Economic Development Foundation, GNBEDF) made up of local companies whose mission is to maintain and grow the local economy.

In 2013, the Braunfels Foundation Trust kicked off a campaign to provide career tech scholarships to help provide a skilled workforce for local companies
