The New Braunfels Jaycees will hold their monthly Leadership Luncheon this Thursday, April 20 at noon in Honors Hall. The program will be a presentation by Comal ISD Superintendent Andrew Kim giving a CISD update and providing information on the upcoming bond election.
Comal ISD has more than 22,000 students, operates 28 campuses and encompasses 589 square miles in five counties. Annually CISD gains approximately 800 new students and is recognized as one of the fastest growing districts of its size in Texas. Kim has been the superintendent at CISD since July of 2012 and in November 2015 was appointed by Governor Abbott to serve as the Presiding Officer of the newly created Texas Commission on Next Generation Assessments and Accountability.
You do not have to be a member to attend. The luncheon is free for Jaycees members, $10 for non-members and lunch will be provided. Payment will be taken at the door. For more information email Jenna@InNewBraunfels.com.
