The Retirees Are Progressive (RAP) Council will meet on Wednesday, April 19 at 9:00 a.m. in Honors Hall to hear an update on the Veremendi project. The presentation will be delivered by Vice President of Design & Approvals at ASA Properties Tiffany Lacey.
Veramendi is a 2,465-acre master-planned community being developed on Loop 337. Once completed, it is expected to feature a hotel on the Guadalupe River, more than 400 acres of public parks, a hospital, two public schools, a new flood-control dam, retail, corporate offices, 5,000 dwellings and more.
The RAP Council consists of individuals who have retired or are partially retired. The council provides an opportunity for retirees to continue contributing their expertise to economic and community development.
