Growth In New Braunfels.

Economic Development

The Chamber brings together community leaders and decision makers to focus on what really matters: the economy, education, workforce, quality of life and entrepreneurship. We represent the interests of the business community to ensure that New Braunfels maintains its position as the preeminent location for its employers, employees and residents.

Through the Economic Development division, the Chamber works hard to develop wealth and create jobs in our community by recruiting new businesses, supporting and retaining existing businesses, advocacy, workforce development, and working to enhance the quality of life. Along with the Convention & Visitors Bureau’s efforts of promoting the visitors industry, the Chamber also provides staff support for the community’s economic development activities through the Greater New Braunfels Economic Development Foundation, the New Braunfels Industrial Development Corporation, and strong collaboration with our community partners. Our services include:

  • Regional demographic and socioeconomic data
  • Site selection information through our GIS New Braunfels Prospector program
  • Introductions/testimonials with industry professionals
  • Coordinate labor market analysis
  • Arrange for community briefing and custom tours of New Braunfels
  • Introduction to community partners
  • Prepare a customized package of Local/State “Incentives”
  • Assist with specialized market research needs
  • Follow-through with the development process
  • Permit expediting through city departments
