Register now for another year of Winery U! at Dry Comal Creek Vineyards. The year 2017 is a special one for Winery U! – it’s the 10th  anniversary of our first-of-its-kind wine education program in the Texas Hill Country. In honor of that milestone, all the classes for 2017 will have a theme of “10”. From our 10 insider tips for wine lovers old and new to our list of the 10 accessories everyone should have.

This means more fun, more wine, more information and in the end, you benefit.

As always, Winery U! will be decidedly non-pretentious. But now, we’re delving further into the world of the grape, from our own Texas vineyards to halfway around the world. We’ll visit—well, at least figuratively—winemaking regions new and old. We’ll taste some of your favorite wines and some you’ve never had before. We’ll discover history you didn’t know existed, and make it entertaining, too.
Every one of these all-new sessions will include wine tasting one kind or another, and there also will be hands-on events, multimedia presentations and food pairings.

It’s Winery U’s birthday, but you’ll be getting the presents in 2017. Sign up today.

We’ll also be offering our original four classes, in case you missed any of them, or just want to take them again, for extra credit.

As in every WineryU! session, there will be:

  • Ample time to get all your questions about wine answered
  • Wine swirling, sniffing, slurping and tasting
  • A printed version of the top 10 list, with room for notes
  • Additional handy handouts
  • At least one surprise
  • A cheapskate’s non-pretentions perspectives and opinions about wine

Well, you get the picture and we’re sure that you have some of your own that may even stump some of our experts!

What do I get from each class?

Besides enduring our wonderful personalities and receiving a nifty Winery U! diploma at the end of class, each participant will receive printed course materials, additional informational materials, and maybe even a surprise or two?

You’ll even get to taste some wine.

All classes are held on Saturday, 10:30 A.M. thru 12:30 P.M. at Dry Comal Creek Vineyards

Cost
$30 per person per class or $25 per person per class when you pre-register one person for any four classes, or four persons for one class.
