Bloom In New Braunfels

Wildflowers In New Braunfels

Native Texas wildflowers are in bloom starting with the state flower, Bluebonnets, in March. Throughout the rest of the spring you’ll see Bluebonnets, Indian Blankets, Indian Paintbrushes, Greenthreads, Winecups, and Buttercups. You can find these and more along our roadsides, blooming in our gardens, and bordering the banks of our rivers.

Of course, the Bluebonnet is our Star! 🙂

And by the way, the Father of Texas Botany lived in New Braunfels! If you’re a budding botanist or just like to get in to the thick of things, call 830-629-2943 and schedule a tour of his home and gardens.
